Fill out a quick application form below with the details about your business and the job position(s) that you want to create. We create all the necessary paperwork, consult with you when required and send to DWP.
FAST-TRACK DWP SUBMISSION
Department for Work and Pensions reviews our submission within 4 weeks. We'll keep you updated while you wait.
Allows up to 2 more weeks for DWP to publish the vacancies. The Job Center Plus will provide you a pool of talented candidates that meet your job requirements, so you do not need to search for them by yourself.
After you hire, you will receive your initial cash portion of the grant and receive salary reimbursements in monthly installments.
Why you should apply with us
As a DWP-approved Kickstart Gateway, we take care of the application process and organise the required employability training & support during the scheme as expected by the government. Our support is covered by the grant & constitutes less than 10% of the total grant funding of up to £7,600 per placement you receive.*
Job Placement Preparation
We want to ensure that Kickstart Scheme is the absolute success for your organisation: discussing how this scheme aligns with your HR needs & drafting job descriptions.
Applying with us as a government-approved Gateway is simple. It takes less than 10 minutes for you to fill in the forms and we will do the rest. Unlike most other gateways, we take time to review your submissions & advise you on how to meet the grant requirements where needed.
Highest chance of approval
To date, we have a 100% acceptance rate on our grant applications while national average estimates are below 50%*. The difference is in our diverse team expertise & dedicated approach to every single application we receive. *as of 1st February 2021
Fast-track DWP consideration
We pride ourselves to be one of the quickest Kickstart Gateways. Our submissions are in line with best practices & we have a fast-track process in place (as an alternative to applying via gov.uk), which means DWP spends less time approving our applications.
Fulfilling Employability Training Grant Requirements
Our award-winning Employability Skills Platform is an approved 3-month training process to meet all related requirements; it goes above & beyond the basics, and ensures that you can focus on what's important: enabling fresh workforce to help out with your business from day one without having to worry about job-search related trainings imposed by the grant.

Frequently asked questions
Are you an approved Kickstart Gateway?
Free to apply?
We've worked hard to streamline the due diligence process and absorb the upfront costs - and now can process the applications at 0 cost to you.
"Up to £7,600 grant per placement" - how much is it?
As DWP puts it:
"Maximum Sum of Grant per Participant - £7648.80
This maximum figure is based on a Participant aged 25 at the end of their six-month Kickstart Scheme employment. The actual amount of the Grant paid for each Participant will depend on their age at the end of their six-month Kickstart Scheme employment and what the National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage is for a Participant of that age."
Why some gateways don't charge any fees at all?
A big portion of rejected applications made outside of our Kickstart Gateway fail because they do not show adequate employability support for the placements or assist with filling in the forms. We estimate that only about 25% of all Kickstart applications are a success.
In contrast, we have 100% success rate to date, and can assure that there is above 95% chance of success if you apply via us.
We provide dedicated specialist support, and take care of the employability skills training of the placements - which is the most crucial part of the application, that's why this grant was created. This is explained in further detail at the top of this page.
Furthermore, training & development of placement employees is an allowable expense as per the grant rules.
What are the timeframes?
With the fast track process, we complete your application & send it within 2 working days.
Then, the DWP processes the applications; currently the process takes up to 4 weeks, although it can take longer.
Then, the recruitment process takes place. This can take anywhere between several days and several weeks.
As soon you confirm a placement, and both us & the DWP assured that a genuine placement has started, you will receive the initial grant funding.
You may want to look over "How it works" section above for the infographic.
What is this employability skills platform?
We have initially designed this platform to assist university students & recent graduates with employability, to equip with the skills and knowledge to secure professional work.
We have re-purposed this platform to enable support of the Kickstart Scheme Applications made via us & other gateways.
This covers topics such as Job Search Strategies, Networking, Designing CVs & Cover Letters, Passing Interviews as well as those aimed at Adding Value to the Employer or Boosting Commercial Awareness. It is a mix of videos, knowledge articles, assignments, consultations & workshops.
As this platform is our core activity, it is constantly being developed, adding new features & knowledge base.
We also aim to ensure that our employers are compliant during the whole duration of the Kickstart Scheme placement.
Where can the placements be? Location, georgraphy?
We cover all possible geographies - not just London, but England, Wales & Scotland.
We may need to do an inspection of your premises prior or during the placements to ensure that they are satisfactory.
It is also possible to create Work from Home (WFH) placements.
Who is responsible for the candidate pool & hiring? Can we introduce someone from our end to the candidate pool?
The candidate pool is provided by DWP & Job Centre Plus - it is not possible to add your applicants directly to the consideration.
You can instruct your eligible candidates to apply for local Job Cente Plus, and this way you could potentially be match-maked.
Recruitment, selecting the candidates from the candidate pool is employer's responsibility. We are able to assist with that on a case by case basis. You can decide not to proceed with the placement at any point, for example if you do not find the right person from the candidate pool available, or after the placement starts, subject to DWP T&C of the Kickstart Scheme and our Kickstart Support Services Terms and Conditions.
Can we discuss collaboration, working together?
Yes, of course!
We are open for partnerships, subject to compliance with the current agreements with the DWP & other 3rd parties.
Please contact us & let us know what you have on your mind.
Can you help with setting up PAYE and Admin etc?
Depending the what you need help with, we will either assist you directly as part of the Kickstart Scheme or let you know of the accountants that provide such support.
We have a quote from an accounting firm that provides ongoing PAYE support for £10/month/employee on employers' end. In terms of the Kickstart Scheme, this is considered an allowable grant expense too.
I am still unsure how it works, can I speak to someone?
Of course. If after reading information on this webpage you are still unsure, you can reach out to us & we will try our best to answer your queries within the same business day. Please provide specific questions upfront, it would help us to assist yourself & others quickly.
